Islandeady Fun Run 2026
The Islandeady Fun Run is a community charity walk and run held in Islandeady, County Mayo, on Saturday 1 August 2026. The event is based at Jack's Old Cottage, Derrycooraune, Islandeady (F23 AW97). Permit number 26/406 has been approved and the course is measured and licensed by Athletics Ireland. Chip timing will be used for result accuracy.
The route follows a clockwise 5 km loop starting and finishing at Jack's Cottage. Participants choosing the 10 km option complete the loop twice. Parking is available near Jack's Cottage. Entry arrangements and fees include an early online adult entry priced at €15 (plus booking fees) before 31 July 2026, and an in-person adult entry priced at €20. Entrants under 16 may participate free of charge. Race numbers are available for collection at Jack's Cottage either on the evening before the event or on the morning of the event.
Funds raised from the run will be donated to Islandeady Community Council and Islandeady GAA/LGFA. The event is organised by the Islandeady Cycling Club and aims to combine exercise with local fundraising and community participation.
