Irvington Turkey Trot and Animal Rescue Donation Drive

This annual event in Irvington takes place around the Irvington Town Commons and includes a mix of timed road races and a children’s fun run. Race proceeds provide financial support to animal welfare organizations located in Lancaster County. The event is organized by volunteers from the Village Improvement Association.

The 2 mile and 5 mile road races are chip or tag timed. Awards for those races are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over. All 2 mile and 5 mile participants receive a custom race T-shirt while supplies last. The Tot Trot is a free, untimed children’s run and does not include a race T-shirt.

There is no race day registration. Early packet pickup and late registration are handled before race day at the Irvington Baptist Church. Participants are asked to follow recommended COVID-19 safety guidelines. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
