IRVINE 4th of July Red, White & Blue 5k & 1 Mile

This event takes place on July 4, 2026 at Irvine Valley College in Lot 5, with entrance from Jeffrey Road. The course is a flat, fast out and back laid out entirely on the campus. Race staging is in the southeast corner of Lot 5 between the Manassero Farm Stand and the two-story Performing Arts building. Campus entrances other than Jeffrey Road will be closed for the course. Irvine Valley College requires a $5 parking fee per vehicle.

Distances and event options:

• 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
• 1 Mile fun run
• Zero K option to pick up shirt and medal without running
• Diaper Dash 100 yards / Kid's 200 yards
• 5K + 1 Mile combo with one shirt, two medals, and two bibs

Amenities include custom 4th of July themed shirts, a large custom-cast finisher medal, chip timing with a custom race bib, water and fruit at the finish, and age group and overall awards. Live National Anthem performance and a Fife & Drum Corps will be present, and food vendors will offer coffee, cookies, fruit, tacos, and tamales. Packet pickup is available in Lot 5 on race morning and there is an optional early pickup at Manassero Farms. Strollers are welcome at the participant's risk and only registered participants with a bib receive finisher medals. The event is hosted by Caren Ware Events and is chip-timed by Itz About Time.
