Iron Horse Ultra
Iron Horse Ultra is an ultramarathon held in the Lakeland area of Northern Alberta, in the County of St. Paul. The event takes place over a race weekend in early October (October 2, 3 and 4) and is part of the Alberta Ultra Series. It offers team and solo entry options across long continuous distances.

The course travels on county roads, gravel trail bed, single track trails and wide open fields through backcountry and private land with landowner permission. There are aid stations and volunteers along the route. The listed start location is Reunion Station, 4012-53 Ave, St. Paul, AB.
Registration is tiered with stated fees for different periods: December 5, 2025 to January 31, 2026 at $100 per runner; February 1 to June 30, 2026 at $150 per runner; a team registration period from July 1 to August 1, 2026 at $200 per runner. The organizer notes an August 1 deadline for team registration to receive a full swag bag, and a later solo registration at $200 per runner with a listed deadline of September 25, 2026.
