The Irish Day Run is the 4th annual Joshua 1:9 Run for Recovery 5K, scheduled for March 21, 2026 in Erin, Tennessee. The event is organized to raise funds to help individuals in Tennessee access and afford addiction treatment.
Race options include a 5K with an included T-shirt and a T-shirt only option. The registration fee for the 5K is listed as $35 and the T-shirt only option is listed as $20. Donations and registration proceeds are designated to support local treatment funding.
The 5K course starts at Houston County High School, located at 2500 Highway 149, Erin TN 37061, and finishes at Traditions First Bank at 5745 E Main St, Erin TN. Parking is available at the high school and the start area is near the tennis courts. A shuttle will return runners to vehicles at the high school after the race.
Packet pick up is available the day before the race at Erin Church of the Nazarene, 11 College St, Erin, TN, and on race morning at Houston County High School. An awards ceremony will follow the race and winners will also be announced online by March 15. The event is presented by the Joshua 1:9 Run for Recovery organization, whose stated vision is to overcome addiction by providing funding for treatment in Tennessee.
