About the race

The Life Style Sports Irish 3/4 Marathon is a certified 31.65 km (3/4 marathon) road race around Longwood, Co. Meath. The course is an anti-clockwise loop that follows sections of the Grand Canal corridor and local countryside, with gentle rolling terrain and a total elevation gain under 80 metres.

The course is professionally measured and certified and uses chip timing for results. Event services include a bespoke running t-shirt, finisher’s medal, finish-line refreshments, onsite photography, and a supervised bag drop beside the start area. Toilets are available at the start/finish area and along the route at approximately 5 km, 10.5 km, 15 km, 21.5 km and 26.5 km. Water is provided in cups at those same stations. Logistics note that there is official event parking at two locations, and marshals manage parking and approach roads.

Race numbers are posted to domestic entrants who register before the postal cut-off; later or overseas registrants must collect numbers. Pacers are provided at a range of marathon target paces. Showers and changing facilities are not provided.

Headphones are permitted but runners must remain aware of marshals, Gardaí, pedestrians and other competitors. The event enforces a strict cut-off time of 4 hours 30 minutes and follows Athletic Ireland minimum age rules requiring participants to be at least 18 years old. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
