Life Style Sports Irish ¾ Marathon
The Life Style Sports Irish ¾ Marathon takes place in the village of Longwood, Co. Meath. The race uses a certified 31.65K (19.66 mile) distance on an anti-clockwise loop through surrounding countryside and along stretches of the Grand Canal corridor. The course has gentle rolling terrain and a total elevation gain of under 80 metres.
Start and finish locations are at Longwood GAA Grounds and the Village Green, Longwood. The event provides chip timing on a professionally measured and certified course. Participants receive a bespoke running t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, finish-line refreshments and access to a photowall. A medal and t-shirt reveal is noted as coming soon.
Race support includes designated parking in fields near the village with marshal guidance, a bag-drop area beside the GAA grounds, and posted race numbers for entrants who register at least three weeks before the event. Runners who register later, supply an overseas address, or provide an incomplete address must collect their race number in person. Pacers are available for common marathon target paces, listed as sub-3, sub-3:30, sub-4 and sub-4:30 marathon pace. The course closes at 2:30pm, allowing 3.5 hours total time.
