About the race
The Life Style Sports Irish 3/4 Marathon is a certified 31.65 km (3/4 marathon) road race held in Longwood, Co. Meath. The course runs as an anti-clockwise loop through countryside and alongside the Royal Canal, with gentle rolling terrain and low total elevation gain designed to test endurance and pacing. Participants receive chip timing, a bespoke running T-shirt, a finisher’s medal, finish-line refreshments and event photography access.
The event uses a professionally measured and certified course and offers a photowall and a 15% discount at Life Style Sports for entrants. A secure bag drop is provided beside the start area; runners must present their race number to retrieve bags afterwards. The event is wheelchair accessible. There is a strict cut-off time of 4 hours 30 minutes.
Pacers are available for marathon preparation at sub-3, sub-3:30, sub-4 and sub-4:30 marathon paces. Toilets and cup water stations are positioned along the route at roughly 5 km, 10.5 km, 15 km, 21.5 km and 26.5 km. Minimum age for the distance follows Athletics Ireland rules and is 18 years.
