Ireland West 3/4 Marathon : Swinford Athletic Club
The event on 5 September 2026 offers three measured and certified race distances. Race headquarters and registration are at Swinford Community Centre in Swinford, County Mayo, just off the N5. Parking is limited at the Community Centre and additional parking is available at Swinford GAA Club, Swinford Amenity Park and Tesco, each about a 500 m walk from race HQ. Stewards will direct traffic on the day.

Online registration is available and in-person registration takes place Friday 4 September in the Community Centre between 19:00 and 21:00, and on Saturday 5 September from 08:00 to 09:30; participants must register in person and bring a form of identification. Registration packs include a bib with timing chip, pins and a T shirt for the first 250 online entries. Refunds and deferrals are not available.
Race routes and maps will be displayed in the registration hall. Race marshals will be at major junctions and kilometre markers are provided for guidance. Civil Defence and Order of Malta provide medical cover. Refreshment stations supply water, cups, fruit segments, fruit cake and sweets; nine stations are on the 3/4 marathon, three on the 10k and one on the 5k.
