The Ipswich Twilight event takes place on 17 July 2026 at Portman Road, home to Ipswich Town Football Club in Ipswich, United Kingdom. The main race is a 10k that starts and finishes at the stadium and follows a winding route through the town centre, passing the Corn Exchange and Town Hall and running through the main shopping area. The event also includes a mass-participation Daily Mile for invited schools and a Family Wave 2k aimed at families and younger runners. The 2026 charity partner is Ipswich Town Foundation, the club’s charitable arm, which delivers community programmes across four pillars: participation and inclusion, health and wellbeing, sport and physical activity, and education and employability. The Foundation reports reaching over 9,000 young people and vulnerable adults through around 30 weekly programmes.

General rules and entry details: entrants to the 10k must be at least 15 and parental consent is required for all under 18. The Family Wave child category covers ages 5 to 12; adult category is 13 and over. Children under 5 may take part with a paying adult and all under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Entry fees are non-refundable and cannot be deferred, but entries may be transferred. Paid entries receive a medal. A £2 discount is available for participants affiliated to England Athletics on production of a URN. Bone conduction headphones are the only approved headphones; traditional in-ear or over-ear headphones are prohibited and may lead to disqualification.
