Ipswich Twilight 10K, Family Wave and Daily Mile 2026
The event is a road running meeting in Ipswich with a main 10 km race that starts and finishes at Portman Road, the home of Ipswich Town Football Club. The route passes through the town centre and main shopping area, circulating around Ipswich’s historic centre and past landmarks such as the Corn Exchange and Town Hall. Spectators commonly line parts of the course.
Supporting events on the day include shorter, mass participation races aimed at younger runners and family groups. Distances on the schedule include:
- 10 km race
- Family Fun Run (2k)
- Daily Mile for invited schools only
Entry rules and participant information note that entrants to the 10 km must be at least 15 years old except for the Family Wave and Daily Mile. Parental consent is required for entrants under 18. Children under 5 may join with a paying adult without a separate entry and all under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult. All paid entries receive a medal.
Administrative points stated for entrants include a closing date that is either the event day or when the race limit is reached, whichever comes first. Entry fees are non-refundable but entries can be transferred. Only bone conduction sports headphones are permitted; conventional in-ear and over-ear headphones are prohibited.
