Ipswich Twilight 10K, Family Wave and Daily Mile 2026
The event takes place on 17 July 2026 at Portman Road, Ipswich Town Football Club. It comprises a main road race and two shorter community races aimed at families and schools.
The programme includes:
- Twilight 10k
- Family Fun Run (2 km)
- Daily Mile (for invited schools only)
The 10 km route runs from the stadium through Ipswich’s main shopping area and around the historic centre, passing landmarks such as the Corn Exchange and Town Hall. The event is supported by spectators along the town route.
Ipswich Town Foundation is the official charity partner for 2026. The Foundation delivers a range of community programmes and reaches over 9,000 young people and vulnerable adults across around 30 weekly programmes. Its work focuses on community participation and inclusion, health and wellbeing, sport and physical activity, and education and employability.
Entry rules noted by the organiser include a minimum age of 15 for the 10k except for the Family Wave and Daily Mile, and a requirement for parental consent for all under 18s. Entries close on the event date or when the race limit is reached. Entry fees are non-refundable but entries may be transferred, and each entry is only valid for the event entered.
Race rules state that only bone conduction sports headphones are permitted; traditional in-ear and over-ear headphones are prohibited and may lead to disqualification. Mobile phones may be used at the runner’s own risk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
