Ipswich Twilight 10K, Family Wave and Daily Mile 2026
The Ipswich Twilight event takes place on 17 July 2026 at Ipswich Town Football Club, Portman Road. The programme includes a main town centre 10k race plus shorter supporting events for families and schools. The 10k starts and finishes among the stadium surroundings and follows a winding route through Ipswich’s main shopping area and historic centre, passing landmarks such as the Corn Exchange and the Town Hall. The event is regularly supported by spectators who turn out in their hundreds.

Age and entry rules are stated for each event. Except for the Family Wave and the Daily Mile, entrants must be at least 15 years old. Parental consent is required for all under 18s. The closing date for entries is the event date or when the race limit is reached. Entry fees are non-refundable; entries cannot be deferred but may be transferred.
Audio and safety notes include that only bone conduction sports headphones are approved under UK Athletics rules; traditional in-ear or over-ear headphones are prohibited and may lead to disqualification. Mobile phone running apps may be used at the runner’s own risk. All paid entries receive a medal.
