Insingizi Trail Run
The Insingizi Trail Run is scheduled for 05 July 2026 at iNsingizi Lodge & Spa in Mid-Illovo. The event uses loop courses that run through bushveld, rolling hills and open grasslands around the venue.
Participants follow routes that pass through areas with indigenous trees, gums, wattles and cane. Wildlife and birdlife may be encountered along the trails. Route maps and GPX files are provided for each course. Courses are subject to change.
Distances and basic course details:
- 19 km - 993 m elevation, 3 aid stations.
- 10 km - 566 m elevation, 2 aid stations.
- 5 km - 263 m elevation, 1 aid station.
There is no compulsory kit requirement listed for the event. Pets are not allowed at the venue. Accommodation is available at iNsingizi Lodge & Spa. Entry to the event is subject to the organiser's terms and conditions, indemnity and waiver policies. The event is presented in association with Funkypants and iNsingizi.
