Route du Vin Luxembourg
Established in 1962, the Route du Vin is the oldest road running event in Luxembourgish athletics. The event traditionally hosts around 2,500 participants, ranging from competitive athletes to amateur runners. The course is situated in the Moselle region, taking participants through a landscape characterized by vineyards and slopes following the Moselle River.
The event offers several race distances for participants:
- 21.098 km (Half Marathon)
- 10 km
- 5 km
The route starts in Remich. From the starting line, runners head toward Stadtbredimus before returning through Remich. The course then continues in the direction of Schengen and finally leads back to Remich for the finish line. The event also serves as the FLA Championship (Federation Luxembourgeoise d'Athletisme).
