Indy Runners Charity XC Challenge
The Indy Runners Charity XC Challenge is a charity cross country event scheduled for Monday, September 7, 2026 (Labor Day) at the Brebeuf High School Cross Country Course, 2801 W. 86th St., Indianapolis, IN 46268. The event features a 5K cross country race on a course that includes grassy knolls and woodsy sections. The event alternates locations in a rotational series between Brebeuf and North Central.
Each registrant joins a charity team at registration. Participants may select one of several designated anchor charity teams or create a new team representing a charity of their choice. For 2026 the anchor charities listed include Outrun the Sun, Back on My Feet, Joseph Maley Foundation, and Girls on the Run Central Indiana. As part of registration organizers request the charity EIN or tax ID number and a current mailing address for verification and fund distribution.
A portion of each entry is allocated directly to the selected charity; an additional portion goes into a racing pot that is split among top scoring teams. A virtual participation option is available for those who cannot attend in person. Race jerseys featuring charity logos will be provided to participants who register in time.
