Indy Races 2026
Indy Races is a fundraising running event held at Lake Shawnee in Topeka, Kansas on September 19, 2026, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The event raises funds for organizations that serve families affected by pediatric illnesses and that operate primarily on donations and volunteers.
The event is offered in person with a virtual option. In person activities take place at 3400 SE Leisure Lane, Shelter 1, Topeka, KS 66605. Virtual participants may walk, run, jog, bike, or swim anywhere, including indoors, outdoors, at a gym, or on a treadmill. Each participant receives a commemorative race bib and a commemorative finishers medal.
Registration opens September 30, 2025, and closes September 19, 2026. The registration fee for each entry is $45.00.

- 1 Mile
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 10K (6.2 Miles)
- Race Around the Lake (6.8 Miles)
- Virtual 1 mile 5K 10K or 6.8 miles
