CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K
The event offers three road races with start and finish in downtown Indianapolis:

The courses are USATF-certified and described as fast and flat. The route runs across the heart of downtown, through historic neighborhoods, and past local monuments. The event is listed among the 15 largest marathons in the U.S. and has hosted Olympians and thousands of Boston Marathon qualifiers since 2008.
Location and organisation
The race is based in Indianapolis. The site notes the city is within a day’s drive of over half of the U.S. population and that the LEED-certified airport is about 15 minutes from downtown. Organisers operate under Beyond Monumental, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organisation that supports youth health and running programs and events.
