Event overview
The BougeBouge Festival & Île Perrot Marathon is a multisport festival held in May 2026 on Île Perrot and in the neighbouring municipalities of Pincourt and Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot. The event includes running and cycling options on courses that range from short family distances to a full marathon. The event is sanctioned GOLD by Athletics Quebec, and the 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km courses are certified by Athletics Canada. The marathon is recognized as a Boston Marathon qualifying event.

There is also an option to ride the Island Tour course (21.1 km bike). The running course is described as flat and fast. Timing and results are handled by the company Sportstats and results are classified by age category. Cut-offs and recommended split times are published to manage safety and logistics. Water stations and public and chemical restrooms are provided along the route and at the site. Parking is limited at the Omni-Centre in Pincourt.
On-site programming includes yoga sessions (indoor MEGA MODO YOGA and outdoor yoga), skateboarding lessons, musical and circus performances, inflatable games, workshops led by local organizations, a foam channel finish for the 1 km and 2 km, and a food zone with local vendors.
