EōS Fitness HYROX San Diego (May 13–16, 2027)
HYROX holds a multi-day race event at the San Diego Convention Center, located at 111 Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA. This is the first HYROX event in San Diego and is scheduled across four days in May 2027. Race schedule, lap counts, relay briefing, and ceremony times are to be announced.
The published race package includes a HYROX finishers patch, live leaderboard results with individual finisher times and split timings, age group award ceremonies, and qualification slots for certain age groups for the World Championships. Aid stations are provided before, during, and after the course. The venue includes a Thunderdome viewing area and a HYROX Entertainment Zone. Professional race photos are available through the official photography partner, which offers a selfie search that requires consent for biometric processing and a visible athlete wristband; photos are generally available about 48 hours after the race.
Athlete check-in requires ID and checking in on behalf of others is not allowed. On-site registration for each division opens 90 minutes before that division’s first start wave. Age group ceremonies are held after all athletes in a division have competed; athletes who podium on a weekday may access ceremony entry and collect flags via the Help Desk with ID, while additional spectators require a ticket.
Volunteer roles include station judges and athlete support; volunteers earn Reward Points that can be redeemed for tickets and merchandise. The event offers a Race for Impact charity option in partnership with High Impact Athletes across four cause areas: Global Health, Climate Solutions, Mental Health, and Women’s Empowerment. Minimum fundraising requirements are $400 for Singles, $600 per Double Team, and $1000 per Relay Team; charity tickets are discounted and failure to meet the minimum may result in restrictions on future charity ticket purchases.
Ticket Flex options differ by level. LITE FLEX allows one name change until one day before the race and offers no refunds. FLEX allows one name change until one day before the race, 100 percent refund until 31 days before the race, and 50 percent refund until 7 days before the race. Tickets without a Flex Add-On do not permit changes or refunds. The Flex Add-On must be selected at purchase and cannot be added later.
