HYROX holds a three day fitness competition in Salt Lake City, marking its first event in the state of Utah. The event takes place at the Salt Palace Convention Center, 90 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. Athletes from the region will compete across multiple divisions including pro categories, singles, doubles, relays, and adaptive divisions.
The race package includes a finisher patch, real time leaderboard results, individual finisher times with split timings, and age group award ceremonies. Certain age groups can earn qualification slots for the World Championships. Aid stations are provided before, during, and after the course. Spectators can view racing from the Thunderdome and visit the HYROX Entertainment Zone. Professional photos are captured by Sportograf using facial recognition; participants can upload a selfie to find and purchase their images, typically available about 48 hours after racing.
Athlete administration notes: check-in requires valid ID and checking in on behalf of another person is not allowed. Specific details such as laps to run, relay briefing, ceremony times, and some on-site registration options are listed as to be announced. Flex Add-Ons offer varying allowances for name changes and refunds while tickets without Flex options are not changeable or refundable. The event also offers a Race for Impact charity option in partnership with High Impact Athletes with set minimum fundraising targets for each ticket type.
