HYROX Salt Lake City
From September 18 to September 20, 2026, the fitness competition HYROX makes its debut in Utah at the Salt Palace Convention Center. Located at 90 South West Temple in Salt Lake City, this event marks the first time the competition is held in the state. The three-day event takes place within the Wasatch Front region, featuring an indoor course designed for various fitness levels, from first-time participants to elite athletes.
All participants follow a standardized course that combines running with specific functional workout stations. The event includes several participation formats:
- Singles
- Doubles
- Relay
The venue features a central area known as the Thunderdome, which provides spectators with views of the competitors throughout the day. Participants have access to aid stations located before, during, and after the race. An entertainment zone featuring various partner brands is also set up on-site.
Registration is managed through a check-in process where athletes must present a valid ID. On-site registration typically opens 90 minutes before the first start wave of each division. Following the competition, age group award ceremonies are held for each division once all participants in that category have finished. Competitors can view their individual finish times and split timings for each workout on a live leaderboard. Some age group placements offer the opportunity to qualify for the World Championships.
Charity participation is available through a partnership with High Impact Athletes, allowing participants to fundraise for causes such as global health, climate solutions, mental health, or women's empowerment. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
