HYROX holds a three-day event in Salt Lake City, marking its first competition in the state of Utah. The event takes place at the Salt Palace Convention Center, located at 90 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. Competitors include elite athletes, everyday competitors, and first-time participants across multiple divisions.
The weekend features age group award ceremonies and offers qualification slots for certain age groups to the World Championships. Race services include individual finisher times with split timings, leaderboard posting during competition, aid stations before, during, and after the races, and a HYROX Entertainment Zone. The venue includes a Thunderdome viewing area and opportunities to purchase professional photos captured by the official photography partner Sportograf, which uses facial recognition and allows photo retrieval by uploading a selfie; images are available about 48 hours after the race.
A youth category, HYROX Youngstars, is offered for athletes aged 8 to 15. Athlete check-in requires valid ID and checking in on behalf of others is not permitted. Ticket options include Flex Add-Ons: the LITE FLEX option allows one name change up to one day before the event with no refunds; the FLEX option allows one name change up to one day before the event and provides refund windows including full and partial refunds under specified conditions.
