About the race
HYROX Ottawa takes place in Canada’s capital over five days, from April 21 to April 25, 2027. The event brings together athletes from across Canada and beyond for a series of fitness races that combine running with functional workout stations. The program references specific stations such as the SkiErg and Wall Balls, and offers individual finisher times with split timings shown on the event leaderboard.
Event services and on-site arrangements include athlete check-in where ID is required and checking in on behalf of others is not allowed, on-site registration that opens 90 minutes before the first start wave of each division, and aid stations located before, during, and after the course. The on-site experience lists a HYROX finishers patch, Age Group award ceremonies, qualification slots for certain age groups for the World Championships, a Thunderdome viewing area, and an Entertainment Zone with partners. Professional race photos are available through the official photography partner Sportograf; photo search uses biometric processing when athletes wear a designated wristband and photos become searchable about 48 hours after the race.
The event also details ticket Flex Add-Ons. Tickets with the LITE FLEX option allow one name change until 7:59 AM event time one day before the race with no refunds. Tickets with the FLEX option allow one name change until 7:59 AM one day before the race, a 100 percent refund until 31 days before the race, and a 50 percent refund until 7 days before the race. Tickets without a Flex Add-On cannot be changed or refunded after purchase.
