HYROX Ottawa takes place over five days in Canada’s capital and hosts fitness races organized in heats for athletes from Canada and beyond. The exact venue and detailed race schedule will be announced.
On-site race features include a finisher patch, live posting of results on the leaderboard, individual finisher times with split timings for each workout, age group award ceremonies, and qualification slots for certain age groups for the World Championships. Aid stations are provided along the course. Spectators can view action from the Thunderdome and an Entertainment Zone with partners is part of the event. Professional photos are available for purchase.
The official photography partner uses facial recognition to locate athlete photos. Images are typically available about 48 hours after the race and can be found by uploading a selfie; pre-purchase and post-race purchase options are described by the event.
Athlete check-in requires presentation of valid ID and checking in on behalf of others is not allowed. On-site registration opens before competition for each division; early entry into the venue before the official check-in window requires using the Spectators Desk with ticket and ID. Age group ceremonies occur after all athletes in each division have competed; athletes who podiumed on a weekday may obtain ceremony access and their flag by presenting ID at the Help Desk while additional spectators require a spectator ticket.
A Charity Ticket option offered in partnership with High Impact Athletes supports fundraising for Global Health, Climate Solutions, Mental Health, and Women’s Empowerment with minimum fundraising requirements by ticket type.
