HYROX Johannesburg - Event information
HYROX Johannesburg takes place on 28 and 29 November 2026 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec Road, Corner Rand Show Road, Johannesburg 2091, South Africa. The published schedule is provisional; individual start times are normally linked about three days before the event. Start time changes are not permitted.
Registration on-site opens for each division 90 minutes before the first start wave for that division. Early registration, race day registration windows, relay briefing, lap counts and ceremony times are listed as to be confirmed. Athletes must bring ID, may not check in on behalf of others, and can only check in on the day they are competing.
Ticketing includes optional Flex Add-Ons with specified name change and refund rules. The LITE FLEX option allows one name change until 7:59 AM South Africa Standard Time one day before the event and does not include refunds. The FLEX option allows one name change until 7:59 AM one day before the event, a 100% refund until 7:59 AM 31 days before the event, and a 50% refund until 7:59 AM 7 days before the event; refunds exclude Flex and service fees. Tickets without any Flex Add-On do not allow changes or refunds after purchase. Flex Add-Ons must be selected at purchase and cannot be added later.
Race services include a HYROX finisher patch, live leaderboard results during competition, individual finisher times with split timings, age group award ceremonies, qualification slots for certain age groups to the World Championships, aid stations before, during and after the course, and professional race photography via Sportograf. Sportograf uses facial recognition to find photos, makes images available about 48 hours after the race, and allows recovery or purchase of photos by uploading a selfie and using a Sportograf redemption Ticket ID when applicable.
