Husky Trail Fest
Husky Trail Fest is a trail running event in Trussville, AL, held at the Trussville Youth Football Field parking lot (205 Riverbend Rd). The event was postponed from Nov 21, 2026 to Mar 20, 2027. Registration closes Fri, Nov 20 at 11:59 PM CT. Registration fees are listed between USD 20.00 and USD 25.50.
The course uses a repeated 5k loop that follows the Original Husky Challenge route as closely as possible and begins and ends in the parking lot. There are two regular self-serve aid stations on the course. Participants in the multi-lap distances may set up a personal aid station in their car at the start/finish parking lot or inside a cooler or storage box at the start/finish aid area.
Packet pickup is available the day of the event beginning at 9:45 AM. Multi-lap participants (50k, 25k, 15k) receive a dog tag that is punched each lap to track laps. A 50k relay is offered; relay teams receive a baton that must be punched after each leg and team members receive dog tags once the final leg finishes. 5k participants receive a dog tag after finishing. "One More Hill" t-shirts and running hats are available for separate purchase. All proceeds go to the Trussville Historical Society. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
