Hughes Springs Wildflower Trails 5K
The Hughes Springs Wildflower Trails 5K is the 35th annual edition of the event, held on April 18, 2026, in Hughes Springs, Texas. Race registration and the finish line are located at Hughes Springs City Hall, 603 East First Street (HWY 11), Hughes Springs, TX 75656.
The event uses chip timing with RFID tags and issues race bibs. Each participant receives a race t-shirt. The first 50 registrants receive a swag bag with sponsor items and other materials. Cash awards include $100 for the top female finisher and $100 for the top male finisher. A $1,000 bounty is available to the top female and/or top male who breaks the course record.
Participants are transported by bus to the starting line. The course passes through areas noted for northeast Texas spring wildflowers, which are a feature of the route.
