Houston Heights Fun Run - October 10, 2026
The 41st Annual Houston Heights Fun Run, hosted by the Houston Heights Association, takes place on October 10, 2026 at Marmion Park on the 1800 block of Heights Boulevard in Houston, TX 77008. The event offers multiple distances and a community after-party at Marmion Park.
Distances:
- 10K - USATF certified (TX17062LAB); course follows the 5K loop twice.
- 5K - USATF certified (TX17061LAB); single loop with one turn at 5th Street.
- 5K Walk - follows the 5K route.
- Kids 1K - turnaround at 15th Street; starts and ends at Marmion Park.
Course and operations information notes that Heights Boulevard will be closed to passing traffic and patrolled by deputies from the Precinct 1 Constables Office. The event course is described as flat with a limited number of turns: one turn on the 5K and three turns on the 10K.
Awards are presented at the after-party at Marmion Park. Award categories include 1st overall male and female, 1st overall masters (40+) male and female, top three male and female finishers for each 5 year age group in the 5K and 10K, and top three male and female finishers in the Kids 1K.
Registration opened March 31, 2026. Posted registration fees are $55 for the 10K, $45 for the 5K and 5K walk, and $20 for the Kids 1K.
