Houston Airports Aviator Run
The Houston Airports Aviator Run is an annual charity running event held at Ellington Airport in Houston, Texas, at 6011 Farley Rd, Houston, TX 77034. The event features in person and virtual options and directs funds to local airport employee support programs.
Distances offered:
- 5K in person, registration fee $35.
- 10K in person, registration fee $45.
- 5K virtual, registration fee $50.
Registration for the in person races opens in May 2026 and closes in December 2026. Virtual registration opens in February 2027 and closes on the event date. Ages six and under may run free; that entry does not include event giveaway items.
All money raised is routed through the City of Houston Combined Municipal Campaign to Wings of Compassion - Houston Airports, which provides scholarships and assistance for airport employees and their families during times of need. First place finishers for male and female in each event receive a prize. Sponsors with the highest group participation also receive a prize.
On the airfield, no pets are allowed. Strollers are permitted, and all runners and their property are subject to search for security and safety reasons. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
