Horsham Running Festival overview
The inaugural Horsham Running Festival was held on Sunday 14 September 2025. The event included multiple distance options for runners and walkers and a timed competition plus a fun, untimed children’s dash. All events started in Sawyer Park, Horsham. The course used paths on either side of the Wimmera River.
The 2026 Horsham Running Festival is scheduled for Sunday 13 September 2026. Registrations open on 1 November 2025 and will be capped at 1,000 entrants.

Other events and organisation
A nearby event, the Dimboola Dash, is scheduled for Sunday 12 April 2026 with distances of marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 5 km and a 2 km Kids' Dash on the walking trail between Dimboola and the Lochiel Rest Area. The same organising team will run the Mildura Riverfront Marathon on Sunday 7 June 2026 and the Mad Max Marathon in Broken Hill on Sunday 26 July 2026. Event updates are posted on a Facebook page.
