Horsham Running Festival 2026
The second annual Horsham Running Festival takes place on 13 September 2026 at Sawyer Park in Horsham, Victoria. The event is held on paths alongside the Wimmera River and aims to attract runners from across Australia, encourage local participation, and provide an additional annual challenge for the local running community.
Racing options cover a range of distances and formats, including timed races and walk entries. The full marathon is run as four laps of a 10.55 km loop on either side of the river. The 5 km event follows an out and back route from the parkrun start toward Weir Park. A free 2 km Kids Dash is offered as an untimed fun event for under 12s.
Distances:
- Marathon: four laps of a 10.55 km course on either side of the Wimmera River
- Half marathon: single lap of the 10.55 km course
- Quarter marathon run: 10.55 km course
- Quarter marathon walk: 10.55 km course
- 5 km run or walk: out and back from parkrun start to near Weir Park
- 2 km Kids Dash: free untimed event for under 12s
