Horsham Running Festival 2026
The second annual Horsham Running Festival takes place on September 13, 2026 at Sawyer Park, Hocking Street, Horsham, Victoria. The event is staged on paths alongside the Wimmera River and offers multiple run and walk options, including a free children’s event.
Distances and options:
- Marathon: four laps of a 10.55 km riverside loop
- Half marathon: distance offered
- Quarter marathon run (10.55 km)
- Quarter marathon walk (10.55 km)
- 5 km run or walk, out and back near Weir Park
- 2 km Kids' Dash, free and untimed for U/12s
Entry fees are split into early bird and full price periods. Early bird registrations run from December 22 to August 23, and full price registrations apply from August 24 to September 6. Published entry fees include mandatory charges and are listed for each event category, with the Kids' Dash offered free of charge.
The festival states three aims: to attract runners from across Australia to Horsham, to encourage more local children and adults to take up running, and to provide an additional annual challenge for the local parkrun and running community.
