Event Overview
The Hornet Run 5K & Fun Run is a community sports event held in Vinita, Oklahoma. The event takes place at North Park, which serves as both the starting and finishing point for the races. Proceeds from the event benefit the Vinita High School Student Council.
This event is USATF sanctioned and features a certified course. Participants can choose between several participation options:
- 5K - In Person
- 1K Fun Run/Walk - In Person
- Virtual 5K
Participant Information
Race day registration and packet pick-up are available on-site at the venue. For the in-person 5K, medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups. Tatur Racing provides the timing services for the 5K event.
Participants receive shirts at the completion of the race while supplies last. For those choosing the Virtual 5K option, a separate shirt pick-up time is scheduled at a later date. The course is located at 200 W Tahlequah Ave. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
