Hope In Motion : Johannesburg
Hope In Motion is a charity trail running event organised by the Dacosbro Foundation at Huddle Park Golf and Recreation in Linksfield, Johannesburg. The event features a single 5 km trail run set on the park's trails with gentle hills and scenic views.
The entry fee is R80 and all proceeds go to the Dacosbro Foundation, which supports people with physical and mental disabilities. Children under three enter free. The event is open to walkers and runners and does not require a licence.
Course and on-site arrangements include friendly marshals, a halfway water point, a marked route, secured parking, and refreshments at the finish. The event is pet-friendly for leashed dogs but is not pram-friendly. The first 100 finishers receive a free goodie bag and there are prizes for selected finishers.
