Course Details

The event offers a 50-mile distance with approximately 9,700 feet of elevation gain and a 27-mile marathon with about 4,900 feet of elevation gain.

The 50-mile course begins with a 4-mile out-and-back section. It then consists of four consecutive 11.5-mile loops, each gaining 2,431 feet. The marathon option follows the same initial 4-mile section, then completes two of the 11.5-mile loops.

Each 11.5-mile loop starts and finishes at the Nyack Beach State Park trailhead. It features a climb to the summit of Hook Mountain, exposed ridges, singletrack trails, river views, gravel paths, and steep descents. The course includes road crossings and technical trail sections.

There is a 14-hour overall cut-off time. For the 50-mile distance, there is an additional 7-hour cut-off at mile 27.

Crew access is permitted only at Aid Station #2 due to parking limitations.

Parking on race day is available at the Marydell Retreat Center, a quarter-mile from the Nyack Beach State Park entrance. Lodging for the event weekend is available at the same center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
