Hometown Half Marathon - Indianapolis
The Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k is a local-themed running event held in Indianapolis. The event features several distance options to accommodate different participants, including:
- Half Marathon: Includes a custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal, and access to course pacers.
- 10k: Includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal.
- 5k: Available for all ages with specific youth-based pricing for participants aged 12 and under.
- 1 Mile: An untimed event that includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal.
- Kid's Dash: A short, untimed dash for children aged 10 and under.
- Virtual Run: An option to complete the distances at any location with the same shirt and medal shipped to the participant.
The event utilizes chip-timing for the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon distances. Live results and age group awards are provided at the registration tent. Awards are categorized by gender and age groups ranging from 10 and under to 80 and over, including a masters category for those 40 and older.
Participants across all distances receive a designer shirt and a custom finisher medal. Free photos are captured during the race, and snacks are provided at the finish line.
