Holywood Stroll
Dumfries Running Club organises the Holywood Stroll, a 5 Mile road race held at Dumfries Sports Club in Great Britain. The course runs on quiet rural roads and is described as flat and fast. Full chip timing is used for official race results.
Registration opens on 1 February 2026. Published entry amounts include adult and unaffiliated rates and a junior rate, shown as £6, £8 (unaffiliated) and £2 for juniors. Marshall-assisted parking is available at the venue and participants are asked to consider car sharing and to keep residents' driveways clear.
This is listed as a Scottish Athletics Permit Event run under UK Athletics rules, with permit approval pending. Under those rules, standard headphones and music devices are not permitted; bone-conducting type headphones are allowed where UKA rules permit. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers overall and to the first male and female in the 40 plus, 50 plus, and 60 plus categories.
