Holiday Lake 25K and 50K
The Holiday Lake event on February 14, 2026 takes place at the Holiday Lake 4H Educational Center in Appomattox, Virginia. The event offers multiple trail distances and uses a loop course that circles Holiday Lake while also following country roads and nearby trails.

The 25K and 50K use a single or double loop format and feature more than 2,000 feet of elevation gain. Aid stations are located at roughly four mile intervals. Start and finish are at the Holiday Lake 4H Educational Center. Awards are presented to all finishers under eight hours.
Event hospitality and logistics include lodging at the Holiday Lake 4H camp with heated bunkhouses available for groups, unheated rustic cabins, and tent or car camping. Fees listed for lodging options are $25 for heated bunks, $5 per person for unheated cabins, and $5 for tent or car camping. A pre race briefing is held at the camp on the Friday before the event with pizza provided, and a post race lunch is offered. Training runs are scheduled in January with on course water and snacks provided during those runs. The 25K and 50K are part of the Lynchburg Ultra Series.
