Holiday Lake 50K++
The event is centered at the Holiday Lake 4H Educational Center in Appomattox, VA and offers trail distances around the lake and surrounding roads. The course is described as a single or double loop that circles Holiday Lake, with more than 2,000 feet of elevation gain. Aid stations are located at roughly four-mile intervals. Awards are given to all finishers under eight hours.

The 10K follows mostly single-track trails around the lake. Runners who complete the 25K or 50K receive custom swag at check-in and a long-sleeve Rabbit "EZ-Tee" at the finish. Additional shirts and hoodies are available for purchase at registration and on race day. A pre-race briefing is held on Friday evening at the 4H camp; pizza is provided at that briefing and a post-race lunch is offered.
Lodging is available at the Holiday Lake 4H camp. Heated bunkhouses cost $25 per bunk; unheated cabins with electric are $5 per person. Tent and car camping near the start/finish has a $10 charge. Organizers schedule training runs in the weeks before the event and provide water and snacks at mile 8 during those runs.
