About the race
The HOKA HALF Johannesburg is a road running event scheduled for 7 November 2026 in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. The exact venue is to be confirmed. The event offers three competition categories with different distances:
- 21.1 km HOKA HALF
- 10 km HALF A HALF
- 5 km FUNRUN
Entries include a range of race services and items. The 21.1 km entry fee is R469, the 10 km fee is R349 and the 5 km fee is R199. All distances include a R1,000 HOKA voucher, a goody bag and a finisher's medal. The 21.1 km and 10 km entries also include official event socks and professional race timing; the 5 km includes professional race timing. Hydration stations, live DJs and on route entertainment are provided, and a post race music festival called RunFest will be held at the event village. Race merchandise and food and beverage vendors will be available.
Batch starts will apply and final batch allocations will be communicated before race day. Temporary ASA licence fees of R70 may apply for the 10 km and 21.1 km if required. A tog bag facility will be provided and items are left at the athlete s own risk. Pets and prams are permitted only on the 5 km route and are not allowed on the 10 km or 21.1 km events.
