The Höhenweg Trophy Wildschönau is a running and hiking competition that will take place for the second time on October 12, 2024. The event starts at the valley station of the Markbachjochbahn in Niederau and leads over several peaks and alpine pastures to the Schönangeralm. There are two route options: a 16 km route for hikers and a 22.5 km route for trail runners.
The three fastest individual hikers, trail runners, and teams will receive attractive prizes. The Höhenweg is a moderately difficult, red mountain trail and is certified with the Tyrolean Mountain Trail Quality Seal. Online registration is possible from mid-June.
