Hillier Gardens 10k
The Hillier Gardens 10k is scheduled for Sunday 11 October 2026 at Sir Harold Hillier Arboretum, Ampfield, Romsey SO51 0QA. This is the first time a race has been authorised to start and finish within Hillier Gardens. The event uses a 10 km road course that is described as flat/undulating, with roughly 5 km of the route running through the gardens and an out-and-back section through Ampfield Woods.
Race administration follows UK Athletics rules and race numbers include a chip timing strip on the back. All finishers receive a commemorative medal; organisers have arranged free entry into Hillier Gardens for runners after the event. A t-shirt option is available for an additional fee of £6, with sizes XS to XXL and an order deadline at the end of August; entrants may also choose to take part without receiving a t-shirt.
Venue facilities include refreshments, information, toilets, bag storage, free car parking and pre/post race massage, and t-shirt collection. Entrants must be aged 15 or over on the day of the race. Entries close on Sunday 4 October or earlier if the entry limit is reached. Transfer of entries is possible via the event Manage Entry system.
The organiser states entries are sold on a no refund basis. The event may be cancelled, delayed or postponed due to circumstances outside organiser control. Participants are asked not to take part if they have COVID-19 symptoms or are required to self-isolate or quarantine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
