Highlands Ranch 5k
The Highlands Ranch 5k is scheduled for February 22, 2026, at Highlands Heritage Regional Park, 9651 S Quebec St, Highlands Ranch, CO 80130. The course is described as hilly and takes place in winter conditions typical for February in the area.
All finishers receive a gender-specific performance tee and a collectible finisher mug. Hot apple cider, hot cocoa, or tea are available at the finish area to use with the finisher mug. The event is an official BOLDERBoulder qualifier and offers free GPS tracking via RaceJoy.
The event includes a food drive for local students with Backpack Society as the charity partner. Participants who bring five or more in-kind donation items are entered into a race day raffle; preferred donations include cereal, granola bars, peanut butter and jelly, family-sized crackers, canned tuna or chicken, pasta sauce, and pasta. The race also partners with Sneakers4Funds to collect gently used or new athletic shoes, with proceeds benefiting Growing Home.
Groups of five or more receive a $5 registration discount. The organizer will produce the event under most weather conditions but may postpone or cancel for active lightning, tornado, white-out blizzard conditions, or temperatures below 0°F; there is no alternate date scheduled. Advance registration is not required, and transfers to other 3W Races events are possible if completed at least 72 hours before the event.
