High Country Flyathlon - Howqua River

High Country Flyathlon’s Howqua Edition is a trail-running event staged along the Howqua River as part of the Flyathlon Series. The race combines running with fly fishing: participants run with their rods and must try to catch a fish during the event, with bigger catches earning a larger time bonus. The atmosphere emphasizes camaraderie, beer, and conservation through recreation, supporting river conservation efforts.
