Hidden Vale Trail Running Festival
The Hidden Vale Trail Running Festival takes place on Sunday 3 May 2026 at Hidden Vale Adventure Park, Grandchester QLD, about an hour west of Brisbane. The event is held in May and is positioned as an early-season race that precedes major marathon and ultramarathon events across Queensland in winter.
Runners use parts of one of Australia's largest privately managed trail networks. Courses run through forested areas, open landscapes and purpose-built multi-use trails. The event offers a range of distances and recorded elevation gains to suit different race plans and training goals.
- 47 km : 46.7 km, 944 m climb, two 23.3 km laps
- 35 km : 34.6 km, 680 m climb, two laps (23.3 km and 11.3 km)
- 11 km : 11.3 km, 208 m climb
