Event overview
The Hickory Flat Rebel Run 5K and Fun Run is a community running event held in Hickory Flat, Mississippi. The course runs through the town and begins and ends at the school gym parking lot on Spruce Street. The race location is 3000 Spruce Avenue, Hickory Flat, MS 38633.

Registration, awards and purpose
Registration opens January 28, 2026. Listed entry fees are $30 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 Mile and virtual entries. Same-day registration is available for $35; T-shirts will be available in limited sizes and quantities. Awards will be given to the top male and top female 5K finishers overall and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Race officials may cancel with no refund if severe weather is in the vicinity or forecast; in the event of bad weather the race will be held on Saturday, May 10th. Proceeds support activities in the Hickory Flat community and provide resources for the local public school. The event is organized by The H. D.
