Hiawatha Spring Trail Run
The Hiawatha Spring Trail Run takes place in Taft, Montana, offering a scenic route along the historic Route of the Hiawatha. Participants navigate an out-and-back course characterized by its unique geography and industrial history within the region.
The environment features towering forests and views of rugged mountain peaks. A notable aspect of the course is the inclusion of historic train tunnels, through which the trail passes. Athletes can choose from several distance options held on the trail:
- 50K trail race
- 25K trail race
- 15K trail race
- 10K trail race
In addition to the in-person trail races, a virtual run option is available for those who cannot attend the event at the physical location. The registration period for the trail events begins in September and concludes in November.
