HERO 5K Run/Walk - Paramus
The 11th Annual HERO 5K Run/Walk takes place on November 8, 2026 at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ 07652. The event raises funds and provides scholarships and resources for student veterans.

- 1K Robert Dyer Kids Fun Run for children 7 years old and younger
- 5K Virtual HERO 5K with mailed race shirt for participants who post results
The Robert Dyer Kids 1K is a simple loop around the parking lot, shorter than 1K. Kids who register receive a finishers medal and a cape they can personalize. Children are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero in honor of veterans.
The Virtual HERO 5K allows participants to upload results on November 3rd. No age group awards are given for the virtual event. Everyone who registers and posts a result for the virtual event will receive a race shirt by mail; allow 1 to 2 weeks for shipping.
Awards are given to the overall top three male and female finishers and to the top three in each age group: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Parking guidance notes that attendees enter via the Paramus Road entrance, park at the top of Parking Lot A, and walk about five minutes to Parking Lot C for check-in. Bag drop and on-site assistance are available at Lot C.
