About the race

Björn Borg Helsinki Half Marathon is scheduled for 12.6.2027 and is held on the streets of central Helsinki. The event offers two race distances:

Half marathon (21.1 km)

Registration for the 2027 event is open and includes tiered pricing and an Early Bird period. The entry fee covers running on an officially measured course, a medal for finishers, electronic timing, drink stations on the course and at the finish, post-finish refreshments, and luggage storage. Entry also includes participation in WE RUN HELSINKI RUNNING CLUB group training sessions.

Payment methods accepted include Finnish online banking, Visa and MasterCard, and selected employee sport vouchers (ePassi and Edenred). The organizer does not accept cash. Group discounts (15% for groups of five or more) and a youth discount (25% for participants aged 25 or younger) are available under specified conditions; discounts cannot be combined and apply only to new registrations.

Cancellation and transfer rules are defined: entry fees are generally non-refundable; a transfer protection option can be purchased to allow moving participation to the next year or to another event under specified conditions. Transfers to another person are possible for a fee if transfer protection was not purchased. In case of event cancellation due to force majeure, entrants may apply for a refund within 30 days of the cancellation notice.

Participants take part at their own risk. First aid is available on the course and at the finish. The organizer and partners have rights to photos and video taken during the event.
