2nd Annual Help Them Stay 5K
The Second Annual Help Them Stay 5K takes place in Jonesboro, Arkansas on October 10, 2026 at Craighead Forest Park Pavilion 1, 4910 S Culberhouse Rd. The event is hosted by King’s Ranch Ministries, a Center for Childhood Trauma Recovery and a 501c3 nonprofit based in Jonesboro. Proceeds support the organization's work to help children from traumatic beginnings remain in loving, permanent homes.
The main event is a 5k with chipped race timing. The event package includes a race shirt and water stations along the course. Walkers and runners may participate, strollers are permitted, and a Kids FUN RUN for ages 3-12 takes place before the 5k. A virtual 5k option is available for participants who are not located in Jonesboro. The event also offers a Spirit Runner option for those who wish to contribute without participating physically.
Organizers will place the final order for race shirts on September 22. Entries received after midnight on September 21 may not receive the requested shirt size because only a limited number of extra shirts will be ordered. Race-day packet pickup is located near the race start and finish area. Registration pricing varies and includes early bird and later registration periods. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
