Hellz Bellz Ultra
Hellz Bellz Ultra is a trail race event at Yacolt Recreation Park in Yacolt, Washington, on July 5, 2026. The event offers multiple distances:

- 50K Hellz Gate
- Marathon Purgatory Trail
The 50 mile course begins at the Hantwick Road Trailhead. Runners follow a gradual gravel approach that becomes single track climbing Bells Mountain. The route passes clear cuts, stream crossings, and views of Mt St Helens before reaching the Yacolt Burn aid station at about mile 10. Participants then run a counterclockwise loop on the Tarbell Trail of roughly 22 miles with technical climbs and waterfalls, return to the Yacolt Burn aid station, and descend Bells Mountain back toward the Moulton Falls Arch Bridge finish.
Aid stations are placed along the course and are described with locations and mileages: Yacolt Burn Trail Head (mile 12 and mile 34), Grouse Vista Trail Head (mile 19), Tarbell Trail Head (mile 29), and Moulton Falls Bridge (mile 45.7). Available food ranges from breakfast items at early stations to lunch items later, plus typical snacks, water, and electrolytes. Runners should be prepared to carry at least 32 oz of hydration between aid stations.
Race entry includes camping, a post race meal, and a finisher award. The published entry fees are $127 for the 50 mile, $117 for the 50K, and $97 for the marathon. Because the event is held in a working forest, course details may change and permit approval is pending with the Washington Department of Natural Resources.
