Event details

Hellz Bellz Ultra takes place in Yacolt, WA, and offers multiple race distances. Registration closes on Sat, Apr 4. The event is capped at 120 entries. Packet pick up and check in are located in Yacolt at Yacolt Recreation Park. Tent camping is available at the park on the night before the event.

Course and logistics

The course begins with an escorted transfer of about 2 miles to Moulton Falls Regional Park. The route includes a sustained climb up Bells Mountain, multiple clear cuts, stream crossings, and views of Mt St Helens. Around the ten mile mark is the Yacolt Burn Aid Station. After that point the course follows a counter-clockwise loop on the Tarbell Trail of roughly 22+ miles, returning to the Yacolt Burn Aid Station before the final descent back down the Bells Mountain trail to the finish.

There are four aid stations in total, including two fully stocked stations on the Tarbell section: Grouse Vista (approx mile 17) and Tarbell AS (approx mile 27). One small drop bag is allowed and will be available at the Yacolt Burn Aid Station.
