Heatwave Half Marathon - Denver
The event at Chatfield State Park in Littleton, Colorado, offers multiple running options on the same day. Distances include:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- Half Marathon Relay - 13.1 miles per team
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- Kid's Dash 50 meters (untimed)
Registration for most distances includes a custom bib, a designer event shirt, and a finisher medal. Some events list youth pricing for ages 12 and under at $17. Chip timing with live results and awards is provided for several races. Free event photos are available. A volunteer option pairs a short volunteer shift with the opportunity to run any distance; volunteers are asked to arrive about 30 minutes before packet pickup. The Half Marathon Relay requires each member to register individually before creating a team; teams may include any number of participants.
A virtual race option is available; virtual participants receive a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping. Virtual packets are mailed and are scheduled to ship the Wednesday after the race. To guarantee an event shirt, registration must be completed by midnight on the Thursday two weeks before race day.
