Fair City Triathlon
The 48th edition of the Fair City Triathlon takes place on June 19, 2027, during the Neshoba County Fair in Louisville, Mississippi. The race uses Lake Tiak O'Khata for the swim and finishes on the horse racing track at the historic Neshoba County Fairgrounds in Philadelphia, Mississippi.
The course is organized as a swim-bike-run format:
- 0.5 mile swim in Lake Tiak O'Khata
- 27 miles bike ride down Hwy 15 into Philadelphia, MS
- 6.5 miles run finishing on the fairgrounds horse racing track
The event was formerly known as the Heart O' Dixie Triathlon; the first edition under that name was held in 1980. The Fair City Triathlon is held annually and serves as a fundraiser for The Refuge of MS.
