Heart 2 Heart event in Douglas, GA
The Heart 2 Heart event is held at the Coffee Regional Medical Center Wellness Center and the CRMC Medical Center campus in Douglas, GA. It includes in-person and virtual options and supports the Cardiac Rehab Scholarship with event proceeds.
Event distances and options include:
- 1.5 mile Fun Run for ages 5 to 10
- 1.5 mile Walk for adults and youth
- 5K run and virtual 5K
- 10K run and virtual 10K
The runs use chip timing and offer digital finish line photos. The 1.5 mile walk and the youth fun run are not chip timed and are not awarded. Age group awards are given three deep in five year increments, starting at 10 and under, then 11 to 14, 15 to 19, and continuing up to 75 and over.
The event offers participant amenities including a shirt for registrants, door prizes, refreshments, lunch, and photo opportunities. Chick fil A will provide a sandwich and chips to participants.
Registration fees vary by registration period and by event. Example ranges listed are: 5K from $25 to $45, 10K from $35 to $55, 1.5 mile events from $12 to $22, and a virtual double header from $55 to $80; virtual shirt shipping is available for an additional fee.
