Headwaters Bank Run
Headwaters Bank Run in Three Forks, Montana features three distances that use the Headwaters Trail System and nearby roads. The courses run mainly on flat terrain and pass near the Three Forks Ponds and across the Madison River Pedestrian Bridge. The Half Marathon route runs through Headwaters State Park near the confluence of the Jefferson, Madison, and Gallatin rivers.
The event begins at Veteran Park, near the Sacajawea Hotel and opposite the Train Depot Museum in downtown Three Forks. Proceeds benefit the Headwaters Trail System to support construction of additional trails. Registration opens March 30, 2026 and closes June 4, 2026.

The event uses chip timing. All participants receive a t shirt. Snacks and beverages are provided after the races and water stations are available along the courses. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
