Event details
The 14th Annual Head for the Cure 5K - Austin takes place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at The Domain - Amy Donovan Plaza, 3220 Amy Donovan Plaza, Austin, TX 78758. The event raises funds and awareness for brain cancer research, education, and related initiatives. Local beneficiaries named include Texas Oncology - Austin Brain Tumor Center and Path to Hope, with additional support directed to national brain cancer programs. - Early Bird 5K: $34.00; includes an event t-shirt, timing bib, and medal; ages 9 and up.
- Early Bird 5K + Dog: $49.00; includes 5K registration for one person (age 10+), a t-shirt, timing bib, a dog bandana, and medals for person and dog.
- Kids Fun Run: $25.00; child 9 or younger, untimed dash; includes a t-shirt and ribbon.
- Virtual Registration: $40.00; supports the cause and includes a mailed event t-shirt and finishers medal; virtual registrants cannot pick up race materials in person.
