Hauntington Park 5K and 1K : October 28, 2026
The event is a Halloween-themed community run organized in Huntington Park, California, with start and finish at Salt Lake Park (3401 E. Florence Ave., Huntington Park, CA 90255). The program includes a costume 5K through the streets of Huntington Park and a separate kids 1K with post-run activities at Art Space HP across the street.

- 3.1 Miles Hauntington Park 5K for ages 13 and over.
- 0.62 Miles Hauntington Park 1K for children 12 and under.
Registration details and participant rules are provided in advance. The 5K carries a fee of $25 and includes a shirt and a medal. Students ages 13 to 17 require parental permission and must run with an adult pacer. The kids 1K is free for children 12 and under; all kids ages 6 to 12 must be registered with an accompanying parent or guardian. After the 1K, children and their guardians are escorted to Art Space HP for arts, crafts, a movie, popcorn, candy, and other activities.
Costumes are encouraged and a best costume prize is awarded for entries that are bright, visible, and well lit. The run is not timed and there will be no official street closures. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
