The Haunted Housing Run/Walk is scheduled for Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Ventura, California (901 San Pedro St, Ventura, CA 93001). The main event is a 5K run/walk held on a flat oceanfront course along the beach. The event is listed as the 10th annual edition and is professionally timed. Scholarship program
One hundred percent of race proceeds benefit Ventura Housing's Scholarship Program, administered by ATLAS - Ventura Housing (a 501(c)(3) affiliated with Ventura Housing). The program provides scholarships to residents of Ventura Housing’s public housing and affordable housing communities and to participants or household members of the Housing Choice Voucher program who are attending or will attend a four-year college or university, community college, or technical/vocational school in the fall.
The Scholarship Program awards six scholarships each year: three at $2,000 for four-year college or university, and three at $1,000 for community college or technical school. The program began in 2015. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
