Harrogate Triathlon 2026
Harrogate Triathlon takes place on 26 April 2026 in and around the spa town of Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The event is organised by Harrogate Tri Club and is noted as Triathlon England Large Event of the Year, sponsored by Lightwater Quarries.
Distances offered include:
- Sprint: Swim 420 m, Bike 25 km, Run 5 km.
- Super Sprint: Swim 420 m, Bike 12.5 km, Run 2.5 km.
- Team Relay (teams of 3): Swim 420 m, Bike 25 km, Run 5 km.
The course is described as undulating and uses standard British triathlon distances with multiple laps. Race headquarters is at Ashville College, Yew Tree Lane, Harrogate HG2 9JP. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. Entry is limited to 402 places.
Facilities listed for athletes and spectators include free car parking at Rossett Secondary School, toilets, changing facilities, showers, baggage storage and event village refreshments. Finishers receive a medal and a goodie bag. Podium prizes are awarded for top placings and age group categories, and course record and spot prizes may be offered. All entrants receive a comprehensive athlete briefing before race day.
Participants must hold a British Triathlon membership or purchase a single use race pass. The organiser notes that specific start time requests cannot be accommodated.
