Harris County HOWL-O-WEEN Race
The Harris County HOWL-O-WEEN Race is an in-person Halloween-themed running event in Houston on October 10, 2026, held at 7575 North Sam Houston Pkwy W, TX 77064. The event features festive elements such as glowing lights, themed photo ops, vendor booths, music, giveaways, costume elements, and other Halloween surprises along the course.

- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 10K (6.2 Miles)
There are separate entry categories for Harris County employees and retirees and for friends, family, and kids. Employee and retiree entries require a full-time Harris County employment or retiree status and submission of an employee ID number during registration. Registration details and fees by category are:
- 5K employees and retirees: free
- 5K friends, family, kids: $18 plus processing fee
- 10K employees and retirees: $10
- 10K friends, family, kids: $25 plus processing fee
